Vardy is criminally underrated, I remember one of my arsenal mates going ape when they was close to signing him about 3 or 4 years ago saying how average he is, admits he was now wrong.

1 point from 11 games is gonna take something special to get out of.

Not football but England win the Autumn Nations Cup in sudden death

Coffee on the absinthe.

Palace 1-4 up... so far, albeit vs 10 men. West Bromwich Albion are terrible.

Baggies 1-4 down to Palace with 20 minutes to go.
West Brom chairman has asked his secretary to get Big Sam on the phone.

I’m amazed Souness can keep a straight face when Alex Scott is the other pundit.

Re: Saturday football
Leeds player plays the ball in the area, Chelsea defender kicks his foot. Leeds player stays upright and chases the ball. No pen.
If VAR even looked at it ... No pen

If he’d done a Salah / Sterling / Welbeck flop he’d have a pen
What a load of nonsense

Re: Saturday football
Did you know Stephen Hendrie has now reached the football heights of Morecambe?
He was sent off today after giving a penalty away at Newport.
He should have concentrated on his snooker.

Maybe Raheem's gun tattoo "went off" and he shot himself in the foot?

fraser 5:39 Sat Dec 5
Re: Saturday football
Yet the Arsenal defender kicked Bowen who went down and no. Pen.

Re: Saturday football
Similar to Masuaku on Salah but even less contact
Fulham defender flicked out a leg which grazed him. Sterling like Salah wasnt moving so wasnt the sort of nick that knocks you off balance. Felt a slight touch so just dropped to the ground and there isnt any question of overuling it.
Thats what the game is now
Of course if it happened on the half way line it would probably be waved away

Kegs? That was games I played in!

Legs

Sir Alf 5:25 Sat Dec 5
Re: Saturday football
As the commentator said even the slightest touch and they now give a penalty. It’s literally non contact with kegs but you can wrestle anyone down with your arms. Absurd, nonsense and all to favour the rich teams and betting syndicates?

Re: Saturday football
Not in a million years a penalty. What a cheat. Man City are better than that, they shouldn't have to depend on that sort of thing.

Re: Saturday football
Slight contact, apparently that is now a penalty .
